Data and AI consultancy firm, V2 AI has significantly boosted its senior executive leadership team with three appointments, bringing on Hannah Williams, Peter Burns and Michael Ewald.
Williams takes up the position of managing director, coming into the fold with over a decade of experience in the IT industry, with nearly eight years of this in leadership roles at Amazon. Prior to V2, she was head of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) for Amazon LEO. Other companies she has worked with include WorkFusion and SAP.
Meanwhile, Burns comes on board as partner with close to 30 years of experience in IT-related roles. His last position was at Google as an account executive and has also worked at FICO, First Data Corporation, PIC Solutions, Woolworths, and Standard Bank.
Rounding out the hires is Ewald, who joins as a director after having led large-scale technology, cloud, and transformation programs for more than 20 years. Before V2, Ewald was managing director at PwC Australia. His career history also includes roles at the likes of Contino, Q Centric Solutions, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, Jetstreamedia, AMP, and Adstream, among others.
Commenting on the appointment trifecta, V2 founder and CEO Craig Howe said the hires reflect the firm’s “continued investment in leadership that combines strategic insight, delivery excellence and commercial impact”.
“These appointments enable us to deepen partnerships with existing clients, helping them shape their AI agenda from initial strategy through to broad execution,” he said. “Simultaneously, this growth expands our capacity to take on new projects and meet the surging demand for agentic AI.”
Williams’ role of managing director will see her focus on client growth and partnerships, while Howe will maintain his focus on guiding clients on AI strategies and the firm’s long-term vision and growth.
V2’s triple appointment comes months after hiring Ian Nguyen in December last year as a partner to strengthen its market leadership.
